Well, this recent Sunday is probably one I'd like to remove completely from my memory.

Really, it started around the beginning of the weekend where I developed a slight cold which had gradually worsened and just made me feel very crappy. Even now it's still lingering, but it should pass soon.

But Sunday was where it really reached the extreme stress level. It started out ok, very relaxing, no work that day, taking it easy. The family and myself later on went down to my grandmother's to celebrate my sister and our uncle's birthday. It was fun, lots of laughs, good food, good times. We head home and arrive back around 7:30/8pm. Heading into my room, I immediately notice something not right and see that about 6 of my PS3 games had suddenly gone missing!! All 6 were ones I was quite fond of too; I spend the time looking to see what might have happened, and notice our back door cracked open. It's a sliding door and the lock's broken, so we rely on a broomstick to secure it, so whoever came in, apparently came in through there.

I thought that was bad enough, but midday monday, I finally notice something even worse than the 6 stolen games: my wallet had been swiped as well!! I literally almost break down, my atm card, my ID, my social security...all were in there, all were gone. Money-wise, there was only $2 bucks in there and a mess of change, so I wasn't too freaked there, everything else was what set me off.

Fortunately, it would appear we've been able to avoid any misuses of my card; we were able to go to my bank and immediately block off my account before any transactions outside of my own were made, and will soon have a new atm card with a new number and everything in about 5 days or so. As for my ID/SSN, I'm not sure what needs to be done, if anything, to avoid any issues there, but we'll probably be stopping by the DMV later in the week to take care of that issue. I'll need a new wallet and a few little extras, but it would appear nothing severe has come out of this, although I can't say I'm completely relaxed either; this has been absolutely wearing on me, and fighting off a cold at the same time doesn't help. >3 Hopefully all will be alright though.
